May 1 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he is nominating national security adviser Mike Waltz to be the next U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

Trump also said in a social media post that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as interim, national security advisor.
