Trump says Biden's handlers used autopen to betray the U.S.

The White House insiders who let President Biden use the autopen committed treason, according to President Trump.

“Joe Biden was not for Open Borders, he never talked about Open Borders, where criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes, can flow into our Country at will,” Mr. Trump said on social media. “It wasn’t his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through the process we are going through now.”

Mr. Trump said, “It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that over the Autopen.”

“They stole the Presidency of the United States and put us in Great Danger,” he said. “This is TREASON at the Highest Level! They did it to destroy our Country.”

The president said that Mr. Biden would “never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted.”

“All anyone has to do is look up his record. Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along.”

During a visit to the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday, Mr. Trump said his administration is going to look into who signed the legislation to open the border.

“Who signed legislation opening our border? I don’t think he knew. I said, ‘There’s nobody that can want an open border. Nobody,’” Mr. Trump said. “And now I find out that it wasn’t him. He autopenned it.”

He did not specify which legislation he was referring to.

“Who was operating the autopen? This is a very serious thing,” he continued. “We had a president that didn’t sign anything. He autopenned almost everything. He opened the borders of the United States of America.”

He said it was “radical, left lunatics that were running our country” that signed it.

Autopens have been used by numerous presidents to make automatic signatures. Mr. Trump in March said he has used autopens before, but for specific situations like “to send some young person a letter, because it’s nice.”

The president has argued that some pardons signed by Mr. Biden are not valid because of the use of an autopen. Other Biden critics say all of his executive orders should be examined.
